Privacy Policy

We collect the e-mail addresses of those who communicate with us via e-mail, aggregate information on what pages you access or visit, and information volunteered by you (such as the content you upload). The information we collect is used to improve the content of our Web pages and the quality of our service, and is not shared with or sold to other organizations or third parties for any purpose, except to provide services you’ve requested, when we have your permission, or under the following circumstances:

It is necessary to share information in order to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the physical safety of any person, violations of Terms of Service, or as otherwise required by law.

We transfer information about you if OrderJump is acquired by or merged with another company. In this event, we will notify you before information about you is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

We will never sell or rent your personally identifiable information to third parties for marketing purposes.

Inspection of your data

Only the upper management of OrderJump have the ability to view your data, but will never actually do so, except in the following situations:

In the process of providing support on your account that you have explicitly requested (for example, if you write to ask for help in setting up your account).

In the process of diagnosing / rectifying a technical issue that affects the stability or performance of the Handshake system.

Your data is never stored outside of our secure hosting environment (e.g. on personal workstations or laptops) except on a strictly temporary basis as required in the service of either of the aforementioned situations above.

Information Gathering and Usage

When you register for OrderJump we ask for information such as your name, company name, and email address. Members who sign up for a paid subscription also provide their billing address and credit card information.

OrderJump uses collected information for the following general purposes: products and services provision, billing, identification and authentication, services improvement, contact, and research.

Cookies

A cookie is a small amount of data, which often includes an anonymous unique identifier, that is sent to your browser from a web site’s computers and stored on your computer’s hard drive. Cookies are required to use the Handshake website.

We use cookies to record current session information, but do not use permanent cookies. You are required to re-login to the Handshake website after a certain period of time has elapsed to protect you against others accidentally accessing your account contents.

Log files, IP addresses and information about your computer

Due to the communications standards on the Internet, when you visit the OrderJump web site we automatically receive the URL of the site from which you came and the site to which you are going when you leave OrderJump. We also receive the Internet protocol (IP) address of your computer (or the proxy server you use to access the World Wide Web), your computer operating system and type of web browser you are using, email patterns, as well as the name of your ISP. This information is used to analyze overall trends to help us improve the OrderJmup service. The linkage between your IP address and your personally identifiable information is never shared with third-parties without your permission or except when required by law.

It is possible that we may need to disclose personal information when required by law. We will disclose such information wherein we have a good-faith belief that it is necessary to comply with a court order, ongoing judicial proceeding, or other legal process served on our company or to exercise our legal rights or defend against legal claims.

OrderJump may update this privacy policy. In the event there are significant changes in the way we treat your personally identifiable information, we will display a notice on this site. Unless stated otherwise, our current Privacy Policy applies to all information that we have about you and your account. If you continue to use the OrderJump service after notice of changes have been sent to you or published on our site, you hereby provide your consent to the changed practices.
